The "Ingo" spectrometer project - Software

I am busy writing my own software.
The following are important sources aside from what I am working on. Spectragryph is the "big dog" in spectroscopy software. There are two big drawbacks. One is that it is for Windows only. The other is that the author, Dr. Friedrich Menges, died a few years ago (in 2022) from a brain tumor. Sadly the softwre was not open source, so there is no way for someone to continue his work.

People use Theremino in some fashion for spectroscopy, though the project seems weirdly named, diffuse, and generally weird. A case of trying to hit 10 balls with one bat. Apparently they wanted the name to end in "-ino" to pick up some of the enthusiasm about Arduino.
