I was originally working on USB code for the F411 black pill. For whatever reason, I began playing with the F429 discovery board and wanted to see if the same USB code would run on it.
In the middle of that I ran into weird problems where the board refused to let me download files and do further work.
So I am already distracted from the F411 work (and that is in fact a distraction from another project I ought to be working on). So I see a domino effect of distractions leaving a trail of half finished projects. Trouble shooting the OpenOCD issues with the F429 promises to be another project.
So I am just going to say, "No!". I have documented this weird situation as best I can and I am going to roll back to working on the F411 USB. One fellow I know will probably be happy.
The F429 disco board goes back into the box with a note and I am back to working on Hydra with the F411 and USB.
