The CH32V307 -- getting started

So, how do we develop code and download it? The stuff on github includes WCHISPTool_Setup.exe. This seems to be a windows hosted GUI program (which is about the last thing I want to work with).

This talks about using "MounRiver" studio. It has both Windows and Linux offerings, which is encouraging. MounRiver is an Eclipse based IDE of some kind.

He does build and download entirely from within "MounRiver".
He debugs using openocd/gdb, also from within "MounRiver".

He never does show the LED blinking, or the cables he used to connect to the board.
