The QGIS program - installing it

It is available for linux, mac, and windows. I am running Fedora 44 linux, and I see that QGIS is available as one of the supported Fedora packages.
I do this to install it:
su
dnf -y install qgis
This pulls in 32 packages, mostly python3 and qt5 libraries of one sort or the other.

I launch it and get a few Gtk warnings. Then I get the splash screen for 3.44, which quickly gives way to the main GUI interface.

Looks like I am good to go.
Learning to use it will involve a signficant learning curve.
