Programmable devices: GAL devices
These were introduced by a company called "Lattice semiconductor"
back in 1986 (I still have their databook on my shelf).
Amazingly enough, they are still around, making FPGA devices these
days, though it seems that the 22v10 and maybe even the 16v8 are
still being made by them. Other companies made pin compatible
devices, notably AMD. Keep your eye out for the "v" in the part name.
I tried JEDisasm and never could get it to work (and the name drives me crazy).
