Where to clean Fountain Pens

Water! Lots of it. And a squeeze bulb. With a squeeze bulb, you can remove the converter and flush the feed with water under a reasonable pressure.

Converters

Most of the time, the same goes for these, just rinse with water. That works until you get water behind the piston. You can either ignore it, or disassemble the converter. You have a fair chance of breaking the converter when you try to disassemble it -- at least until you gain some experience. Some converter unscrew and come apart nicely.

Others (like the Lamy) have to be twisted and pulled, perhaps using part of a rubber glove to gain friction. They say the first time is the hardest. It would pay to have a spare in case you break one learning how the game is played.
