Orange Pi 4 (Rockchip 3399) HDMI and video
I typically ignore the HDMI connector on boards like this.
I almost resent them being there.
I connect a USB to serial gadget to the three console uart pins,
and to be honest, I have never once plugged anything into the HDMI connector.
But someday, if I run out of other things to do, it might be interesting to see how
one of these boards would do as an actual linux machine.
If I ever play with that, I might want to get a small cheap HDMI monitor like one of these:
