Mac mini teardown
Here is a very nice detailed teardown of an M4 mac mini:
Perhaps the most interesting thing to learn is that the SSD is
in a socketed module.
I see 1T and 2T aftermarked modules for sale on Amazon.
Prices currently $260 for 1T, $420 for 2T.
Comparison to the M3 imac
On this, the SSD is not replacealble. The NAND chips are soldered directly
to the same board that has ram and the processor.
This is also true of the M4 imac and may be part of the ultra thin design.
