The mac mini -- VMWare
Daniel Flohr has suggested to me the idea of using VMWare on the Mac.
It is free (maybe as vmware-plus?) and could be used to run linux,
windows, even new mac releases). Right now I don't see that as useful
for me, but it might be someday.
Alan's son suggested something called "Crossover" by Codeweaver.
Apparently it allows x86 windows executables to be run on a Mac,
and presumably without running Windows in a VM.
These are important tips to tuck away for some possible
future situation.
