Sharpening Knives - a KME clone from China

I ran across this on AliExpress and ordered it right away. The price was $50, and it is hard to argue with that seeing the real KME sell for $200 to $300.

Don't be under any illusions. I am not, and I wasn't when I bought it, I was just curious. The price was $47.37 with Free shipping. I selected the assortment with 11 stones (none diamond).

The name of the game on AliExpress these days is every kind of game, misrepresentation, and outright lying to sell stuff. This is absolutely no KME and when you get it, it is plainly labeled "Sytools K2 Pro". I'll note that there is a K4 pro also (but I have not investigated details). This is so rampant, I am tempted to -not- blame Sytools and rather whoever is doing the listings on AliExpress.

All that said, this is a pretty nice unit (but I'll have more to say after I sharpen a few knives with it.

I'll mention in passing that I have caught wind of another unit on AliExpress that uses the same stone called the Ruixin Pro.

With no stones, you can get the Ruixin for $21.02 which is tempting. No lying nonsense about it being a KME.

Diamond stones

Now things get interesting. There are a myriad of stones being sold on AliExpress that look like they should fit my unit. The non-diamond stones shipped with my unit are 20mm wide and 150mm (5.9 inches) long.
These look like the right thing: The price is good for these diamond stones (if they are any good). You can buy one for $3.04 or a set of 11 for $27.11, or a set of 4 for $12.47

Just for reference, the stones you get with a real KME are 1x4 inches and you get:

50, 100, 140, 300, 600, 1500
I end up ordering a set with 80, 150, 240, 500, 800, and 1000 and 3 single stones besides. Order placed 1-23-2023.
