Sharpening Knives - the Spyderco Doublestuff 2
Another interesting Spyderco "field stone" for just under $50.
I see them selling for $38.90
The original Doublestuff was a 302F and 302M glued together. Approximately 1800 and 600 grit respectively.
The new Doublestuff 2 replaces the 302M with CBN2.
The trick with the CBN2 is to use a very very light pressure.
Pushing hard will just yield deep scratches and tear the CBN from the stone.
Besides that, it won't cut any faster if you push hard.
