DIY Hammock Notes
Making your own hammock is an easy DIY project as it is mostly a matter
of sewing a bunch of long straight stitches.
Once you have successfully made one thing, it is only naturally to try something
else more complex and so the process goes.
Where to get stuff
Some projects
An idea that has intrigued myself (and many others) is the
concept of an integrated hammock and underquilt.
This is not trivially simple because if the insulation gets
compressed, the whole thing becomes useless.
But as anyone who has used an underquilt knows, getting it rigged
properly is tricky and all-important.
