Bighorn Sheep restrictions
There used to be quite specific time and space restrictions relative to Bighorn Sheep
in certain areas. In particular the area around Shepherd Pass and Mount Williamson was
only open to legal access for a few weeks each year.
When I called in July of 2011, I was told that these restrictions had been removed
entirely because they had decided that so few people access this area that they were
unnecessary. This could of course change again at any time.
