I got this while looking for books on the geology of Europe.
It is an interesting, unique, and resonably compact book summarizing results from
what I think is/was a geophysical traverse of Europe without getting lost in the details and data.
Geology of Western Europe, M.G. Rutten (Netherlands) QE 260 R8 1969
500 pages. Worth the study for descriptive information, though it predates
the plate tectonic revolution.
Geology of the European Countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden QE 260 G46 1980
A collection from various authors. Worth getting again when I want to focus on Scandinavia
Global Tectonics P. Kearey and F.J. Vine (England) QE 511.4 K43 1996

I particularly like this man's writing style and am eager to get this book again.
An English stratigrapher, well travelled, somewhat skeptical of plate tectonics.

A fascinating book that I definitely want to get again.
