First let's look at the measurement softkeys to the left of the screen. These give us one button ways to measure different aspects of a waveform. The MENU button at the top just cycles between a set of Vertical and a set of Horizontal menus. Each of these has several "pages" that we can move between using the up/down arrows at the bottom. We have tiny dots at the extreme left side of the screen to show us which page we are on.
Pushing one of the measurement softkeys makes a measurement and shows you the result at the bottom of the screen. If you keep measuring different things, they get added to the right and if there are more than fit on the screen, the old ones on the left get shoved off. According to the manual, 32 different parameters can be measured.
As you may remember there is also a "Measure" menu button in the group of six to the right. This causes the menu softkeys on the right to display measurement related options. Some of these interact with the measurement softkeys on the left and/or the values displayed at the bottom of the screen.
One of these is a frequency counter, select a channel and you will get a screen popup that continually shows the waveform frequency.
