GPS and Time Nuts
I was minding my own business and out of the blue got an email from Skipp.
He was asking me about some information I have online about the Promice ROM emulator.
Our email conversations drifted into discussion of GPS microcontroller projects
and he offered a lot of information which I am trying to preserve right here.
Who would have thought? There is a group of people that are wildly

There are boat loads of these selling in the $5 to $10 price range.
You can buy them on Ebay, AliExpress, or Banggood.
They seem to have 4 wires. Power, Ground, Rx, and Tx.
You give it 5 volt power. It apparently has a 3.3 volt regulator.
Rx and Tx are at 3.3 volt logic levels, or so it seems.
