The xfce window manager
Back around 2012, I was outraged by Gnome 3 and began angrily looking for something else.
I settled on Xfce, and given that 8 years have passed now, I can say that
is has worked out pretty well.
I run Fedora 32 these days, and there is now a Fedora "spin" that makes running Xfce
very easy, so a lot of my old notes don't have much relevance now.
Specific topics
I rarely do much to fiddle with Xfce.
I am happy with how it works right "out of the box".
But there are a few things I do fiddle with that aren't immediately obvious.
