Configuring a printer.


This fundamentally boils down to having a proper /etc/printcap file. The Red Hat install asks some questions, which are less than straightforward to answer, at least for a network printer. The following printcap files are appropriate for our environment where we have a multitude of network printers and want to be able to access any of them from any machine.
Here are 3 possible ways to go:

The last link may not work if the Steward folks have been moving things around recently - if so, do as they say and "follow the links". The first is just the second with the Red Hat generated stuff appended. (It works for me, and should be obvious how to change if you want a different default printer.)
