Amazon says I bought one of these in 2011. The price is now $280! I am sure I did not pay that back in 2011!
It was introduced back in 1997. I used one at work before I purchased one of my own for home. It has what is now called an "Alice" layout, and for a long time was almost the only available keyboard set up like this. I predates the "Alice" lingo by at least a decade.
Mine is black and only has a PS/2 connector, but works fine with a cheap PS/2 to USB "cable".
It is huge, and I don't need or use the number pad. I have also grown to like keyboards with mechanical switches.
