Firefox Tips
I am gathering up some special firefox juju, and here it is:
Go to my own home page on new tab
Somewhere along the way firefox introduced a feature where when you go to a new tab, you get a matrix
of "likely sites" that firefox has selected among those you often visit. Well, I just want it to go
to my home page. This can be done. Open a new tab, click on the little button matrix thing on the
upper right, and enter the url "about:config". Respond to the dialog about voiding your warranty,
then type "browser.newtab.url" in the search entry field. Then double click on this one and only
item and you get a dialog where you can enter the url of your home page (or whatever you want).
Quick and easy, but not obvious by any means.
