Coffee Roasting - Indonesian Coffee

Indonesian coffee has always been at the top of my list. At first I only knew Sumatran, but Java and Sulawesi have been added. You might add Bali, but I view that as its own thing. Sumatran (and other Indonesian coffees, especially Sulawesi) are often processed using the Giling Basah (wet-hulled) method.

Coffees from Java (as well as Bali and Flores) often are processed as the more usual washed coffee.

I ordered 22 pounds of this as green coffee on 12-20-2021 for $141.46.

Other sellers label this as "Sumatra Kerinici Palompek Washed" and say "this is not your average Sumatra". It tends to be more acidic, but a medium roast balances the acidity nicely they say.

This is unusual for a Sumatran coffee as it is fully washed.
