2000 Tacoma front bumper fix

Due to an unfortunate oversight, my truck rolled away in a parking lot and hit the corner of a dumpster. This put an ugly crease in the front bumper. It looks a bit ugly, but still works as good as ever (I suppose). The creased piece is mostly plastic.

But this could be a good time to get a steel replacement bumper. There are 7000 outfits making such things for eager 4x4 commandos. I don't want to spend the big money for one of those.

I found this on Amazon for $340. It is steel powder coated and I would get free shipping!! They say it is compatible with Tacoma Gen 1 from 1995 to 2004. 44.1 pounds. It would give a nice look at a decent price, but it wouldn't be some super hard core item (I would need to pay more like $900 for that class of product.

I get a 30 day return window from Amazon -- and I won't be upset if I had some minor hole drilling or such to do.
