extra Wheel

I have been tempted to buy another nice TRD wheel so I can include the spare in my tire rotation. Otherwise the $300 I spent on that tire will be more or less wasted as it will just stay under there until 10 years are up and it is too old to safely run on the vehicle.

A new rim costs $287:

I can't make up my mind whether or not this is money well spent. To one way of thinking I am spending $300 to redeem the $300 spent on the tire. A friend points out that once I wear out a set of tires, I will need to buy 5 new tires instead of 4.

I see one on Ebay with some scratches and dings for $200 (free shipping). Bear in mind the $287 price above is free shipping from Amazon, but actually includes about $60 of shipping charged (the price at BAM parts and many other sources is $225)

The jury is still out on this.
