Asus Tinker Board

This showed up on the scene in early 2017. You get a quad core ARM with 2G of RAM and Gigabit ethernet for $60. No on board fan and it seems to be powered by micro USB, so it must not be a power hog like the Orange Pi boards.

The big question is whether there are comprehensive technical docs.

The Raspberry Pi is a big looser here due to secret aspects of the Broadcom chip.
The BeagleBone is a big winner with its fabulous 4000 page technical manual.
The Orange Pi has a skimpy and marginal datasheet for the Allwinner H3.

The Skinny

It is based on the Rockchip RK3288. It uses the Realtek RTL8211E chip for the Gigabit ethernet.
